بلغت ارباح شركة مصانع الاسمنت الاردنية للنصف الاول من العام الجاري 76ر30 مليون دينار بزيادة نسبتها 16 بالمائة عن نفس الفترة من العام الماضي وبلغ ربح السهم الواحد 43ر دينار بزيادة مقدارها 15 بالمائة .وحدد رئيس مجلس ادارة الشركة عبدالاله الخطيب اهم ملامح النصف الاول من هذا العام بالزيادة الملحوظة في قطاع البناء والانشاءات واستمرار النمو في سوق الاسمنت المحلي بنسبة تقارب 16 بالمائة واستقرار الطلب على الاسمنت من الدول المجاورة اضافة الى زيادة المبيعات الكمية بنسبة 7 بالمائة .وأشار الى انعكاس الزيادة في اسعار المحروقات على اسعار منتجات الشركة موضحا ان نسبة الزيادة في زيت الوقود تجاوزت 60 بالمائة الامر الذي دفع الشركة لزيادة اسعار الاسمنت بقيمة 5 دنانير للطن الواحد او ما نسبته 10 بالمائة مقارنة مع الاسعار السابقة.وبين أن الشركة تقوم هذا العام بتنفيذ عدد من المشاريع لتحسين ادائها البيئي بقيمة اجمالية تبلغ 6ر11 مليون دينار موزعة على مشاريع الفلاتر الكيسية لخط الانتاج الثاني وطاحونة الاسمنت في مصنع الفحيص وبناء خزان لمادة / الكلنكر / وتأهيل آخر في مصنع الرشادية .واشار الى ان تكلفة انتاج الاسمنت تعد مرتفعة اذا ما قورنت ببعض الدول المنتجة المجاورة وذلك بسبب توفر مصادر رخيصة للطاقة مشيرا الى ان ذلك يحد من تنافسية هذه الصناعة على المستوى الاقليمي .وطالب الحكومة بالسماح باستخدام الفحم البترولي في صناعة الاسمنت مؤكدا أنه لا يتسبب باي نوع من التلوث البيئي .ويبين التقرير نصف السنوي للشركة أن اجمالي مبيعات الشركة للسوق المحلي بلغت 86ر1 مليون طن بزيادة مقدارها 16 بالمائة مقارنة بنفس الفترة من العام الماضي وان اجمالي المبيعات للسوق الخارجي بلغت 167 الف طن بانخفاض مقداره 43 بالمائة لتصبح نسبة الزياده الإجمالية في كمية المبيعات 7 بالمائة .وتعتبر شركة مصانع الاسمنت الاردنية من اكبر واقدم الشركات الصناعية ذات الامتياز في المملكة حيث تأسست عام 1951 وقد باعت الحكومة 33 بالمائة من حصتها لمجموعة// لافارج // الفرنسية في عام 1998 كشريك استراتيجي وهي تمتلك الآن 48 بالمائة من الشركة التي انتهى امتيازها في العام الماضي .
